Fall 2023 Updates

Hello, Families!

We would like to share an update about the fall season. All teams for the upcoming season have been rostered, and we are in the process of assigning coaches. We anticipate that this process will all be completed by the end of the weekend.
Once the process is finished, we will share team rosters with coaches with instructions for them to begin reaching out to parents to open communication.

For those that have signed up for the youth camp, it will be July 25-26-27 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the high school practice field (which sits directly next to the bus garage).

For team practices, expect them to begin the first week of August. We anticipate rec games to begin either on Aug. 20 or Aug. 27.

For those that played this past spring and have not received their team medals or team pictures yet, please reach out to your coaches. Both the medals and pictures have been made available to them.

As always, please feel welcome to email [email protected] with any questions.

THANK YOU!

FYS's U14 All-Star: Kayla Phillips

Field Youth Soccer was honored to announce that Kayla Phillips, who most recently played for our U14 girls travel team, was selected to play in the Ohio Travel Soccer League All-Star Game in May.

Phillips was joined by other players from around the state in the prestigious event, with the OHTSL now including 108 communities.  The All-Star Game was played at the Blossom Hill Turf Field in Brecksville.

Kayla has played for FYS since she was 5 and is a tremendous representative of Field Youth Soccer. She has grown into a great player, but more importantly, a great person!

FYS 2023 Scholarship Recipients: Cassie Wilde & Claire Phillip

Field Youth Soccer and Field High School soccer proudly presented Cassie Wilde and Claire Phillip with the 2nd annual FHS/FYS Scocer Scholarship as part of the high school's Scholarship Night.

Wilde and Phillip were selected from an application process and will each receive a $500 scholarship.  Field High School varsity girls soccer head coach Jason Schindler made the presentation on behalf of Field Youth Soccer.

Both began their soccer careers in Field Youth Soccer and have given back to the organization throughout their high-school careers during youth practices and camps. We thank them, sincerely, for being positive role models for our current youth players and we wish them luck as they begin their new chapters in college!
