Email to Baseball 12YO & Younger

This email is going to participants in our 12YO and younger baseball program to provide a few items:

We have our Picture Day tomorrow (4/9) at Civitan Park. Legends Event Photo has been working with head coaches and have set their team's time for tomorrow. All pictures will be taken in the grassy area when you first enter the large parking lot into Civitan Park. This is a fund raiser for our league so thank you in advance for your support.

We are actively working with William County Park & Recreation on improving the bathrooms at Civitan Park particularly the ladies bathroom. While we are waiting on a schedule, we are prepared to make our own improvements if there are going to be delays.

Our Field Usage links on the website identify field usage at each field each night. While each team has their own webpage through Team Central on our website that shows their team's game schedule, you may find the info on Field Usage helpful.

Our 12YO and Younger recreation (i.e. draft) program has a roster of players on each team that is more than can be placed in the field at one time. For player participation expectations, all players are to be in the batting order. And as such, there is "free substitution" in the field so players can play different positions and come in and out of the lineup in the field. Players should not sit two consecutive innings but could sit every other inning.

We have had a few asking about our Post Season Tournament schedule. We hold this tournament for the 7YO to 12YO age groups. The brackets can be found on our website at the link titled Post Season Tournament. These will occur following our regular season.

And lastly, we provide participation trophies for our 6YO and younger programs. For 7YO and older, we provide individual trophies for the regular season champions and then individual trophies for the runner ups and champions for the tournament.
